Techno Jeep - An old one. But a good one. I love this stuff. This type of concept first blew my mind years ago when Nike tapped Afrika Bambaataa to create an original piece of music using the sounds of basketball. If you haven’t seen it, look up “Nike Freestyle.”
After seeing it, I ordered myself a little digital mic recorder and toyed with doing the same with a classic car. To this day, I have a library of sounds I captured just waiting for me to experiment with. It’s been over 6 years. (sigh)
I happened upon “Remixing a Playground” this morning and it reminded me how much creativity is out there. Have fun. Follow through. Make something.
